Council Dues
Each local PTA in Garland ISD is required to pay $75 in Council PTA dues each fiscal year in order to remain in Good Standing with the Garland ISD Council of PTAs.
Council dues must be paid before the first Delegate Meeting of the fiscal year. Being current on dues allows your PTA to participate in Council business, attend Council trainings, and be eligible to participate in Council awards and opportunities.
Where Do Council Dues Go?
Just as individual members pay dues to their local PTA to be part of the PTA organization, local PTAs pay Council dues to be part of the Garland ISD Council of PTAs.
Council dues help support the work of the Council, including providing training, resources, leadership opportunities, communication, and programs that benefit our local PTAs throughout Garland ISD.
Your PTA's participation helps strengthen our organization as we work together to support every campus and every student.

What Is the Scholarship Donation?
Each year, Garland ISD high school campuses whose PTAs are in Good Standing have the opportunity to apply for a Council PTA scholarship on behalf of graduating seniors.
Scholarship donations collected by the Council help make these scholarships possible. Your contribution directly supports graduating students as they take their next step toward college, career training, or other educational opportunities.
