Telling our PTA Story

At the heart of every PTA are parents, community members, grandparents, alumni from all walks of life who share the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to realize their full potential. They volunteer for events, they make copies, they run book fairs, they meet in evenings, they prepare supplies for lessons—they share a smile the students they meet and let them know they care. 

Garland ISD alone has almost 5,000 PTA Members and more than 400 PTA Board Members spread across the district’s nearly 60 PTAs. Together, they support Garland ISD's more than 51,000 students and 6,000 teachers and staff members in Garland, Rowlett and Sachse.
