Every child. One voice.
To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Congratulations to Mr. Cummings of Walnut Glen Elementary on being named Texas PTA Elementary Teacher of the Year! Your passion for inspiring students and your unwavering dedication to education make Garland ISD and our PTA family very proud.
Our Garland ISD PTA trailblazers gathered at Texas PTA Launch for an unforgettable adventure of learning, laughter, and leadership! Representatives from campuses across our district came together to sharpen their skills, build meaningful connections, share ideas, and prepare for an incredible school year ahead.
From inspiring sessions to fun moments with fellow PTA leaders, every conversation helped strengthen our commitment to serving our schools, students, families, and communities. Together, we're blazing new trails, building stronger partnerships, and returning home ready to make a lasting impact.
The trail is bright, and this is just the beginning. Here's to a year of growing together, leading with purpose, and making every child's potential a reality.
One district. One PTA. Unstoppable!
It's a gathering of representaves from individual schools within Garland ISD to discuss district-wide initiatives, vote on council business, and share best practices. These assemblies bridge the gap between individual campus PTAs and the broader community.
September - 9:30am: State of the District with Dr. Lopez, Arts in Education. Fine Arts and National PTA Reflections Program.

When Texas PTA stopped our Garland ISD Hospitality Suite, they reminded us what true leadership looks like. Leading with purpose, inspiring with heart, and empowering every PTA to make a difference. Thank you for inspiring us to keep serving, growing, and leading together!
